Phoodie
Thephoodie print publication is a food magazine that showcases authentic experiences about veganized Filipino cuisine. The energetic personality of the publication relies on its liberal application of colour. Saturated red oranges, varying tints of blue, and bright yellows were chosen to reflect the Philippine flag. A simplified version of the flag’s golden-yellow sun is also used as a main graphical element throughout print and digital applications. The publication’s overall creative direction not only celebrates traditional cuisine through a plant-based lens, but also cherishes the vibrant culture surrounding the meals Filipinos eat.
